Hi everyone!!
Today I'll talk about this Sunday event!


MILANO MATSURI 日本食と文化の祭典

Cultural exchange between Italy and Japan. Spread of Japanese food culture. 
MATSURI: the traditional Japanese folk festival which, by the contemplation of nature, food and fun celebrates  and regenerates the harmony between man, natural environment and their traditional culture.
Cannot miss, during the Matsuri, the food stalls, souvenirs and toys for children.

THE STREET FOOD.

You can encounter in the typical yatai, stalls selling the excellent "street food" from sweet to savory, myriad flavors that delight the palate.

TAKOYAKI: balls of batter filled with octopus and pickled ginger and chopped
UDON: variety of noodles made ​​from wheat flour usually served as soup noodle in hot broth.
KARAAGE: marinated chicken fried
YAKITORI: chicken skewers grilled and sprinkled with special sauce Otafuku.
GYOZA: is a type of dumpling shaped like a half moon. The filling of meat, vegetables and garlic are wrapped in a thin dough sealed with finger pressure and then cooked on the plate.
WAGASHI: typical Japanese sweets usually served during the tea ceremony. Here are some examples: mochi - sakuramochi - daifuku mochi - Yomogi daifuku or kusamochi - dorayaki.
YAKISOBA: Japanese noodles (soba) jumped on the plate (yaki) with carrots and cut into julienne onion, cabbage leaves and the special sauce Otafuku.
ONIGIRI: It 'a snack typically Japanese, consisting of a patty of white rice, with a heart of fish and / or various condiments as possible as the umeboshi, sesame, etc..
SUSHI: the well-known Japanese dish that everyone knows.


MILAN MATSURI: the encounter between food and culture.

While you savor the tastes of the typical Japanese street food you can also participate in various events dedicated to people of all ages: from children's play tea ceremony, various cooking show at the concert of taiko, and much more.
I'll sure take a lot of pictures and maybe I'll take a video too! The thing that I'll do for sure "Eating a loooot"! Included in the ticket price is: 1 serving of Takoyaki; 1 serving of Udon; 1 serving Karaage; 1 serving of Yakitori and 1 serving of Gyoza. I can't wait!!
